What kind of improvements you want in bus services?

Well , I like to see better frequencies on buses especially during peak hours and for single deck bus services, why not have 2 single decks at one time so that more people can board the bus ? SBST should clean their buses , the condition of their buses especially the body is real dirty .

Some air conditionings are climate controlled (auto) or there's only one switch so it's impossible to adjust the air conditioning. It's either hot or cold.

Higher bus frequency is what I always want. One example would be waiting Svc 105 in the rain for the whole DAMN 1 hr and 10 mins! Mad

Pt 2: I hope that buses can be clean, for both interior and exterior of the bus.

It's quite understandable for passengers requesting for higher bus frequencies as I am also looking forward to that. However, buses tend to be held back at roads with high loads. Just take a look at service 170, there's 50 buses on the fleet but the jam at causeway are always holding the buses back.

would like to highlight the way bus captains drive….....sometimes they like to keep braking…..makes us sitting and standing passengers jerk all the time…..kinda irritating, esp when the bus is quite crowded…....

well there is many improvements they cna make

for example
MORE LOW FLOOR BUSES

buses need to be fitted with Next bus stop announcement / displays

Buses need GPS to help bus schduling help bus keep to times

and get rid of that EZ-link card system....it just plain copies the hong kong octopus card system

More bendybuses on certain routes like 969 and 961

I always have problems sitting on the older non-aircon double deckers. I dont know who they based their seats on.

I think they need to do some market and customer surveys.

For example, i use to take Bus 30 a few months ago to my school in Pasir Panjang. I realise that when i go to school from Bedok Interchange at ard like 2pm, they use a air con double decker bus when the journey sees the bus rarely filled. Then when it was peak hour around 5 plus, i actually see at Pasir Panjang, 2 consecutive single deck bus coming in the space of 20 minutes. It was FILLED to the BRIM!

So, if SBS had did some customer surveys. They would realise it is better for the customers to use a single deck at 2pm where passengers are fewer and double deck during peak.

Anyway, they say charge more increase service. Guess what? They change the feeder bus route at my flat in simei. Now, I have to walk 10 minutes to get to the feeder bus stop instead of the usual 5 minutes. Better service? Darn right.
