Regarding bus 28 new route

As some of you guys are aware of the slight change to bus 28 route at Tampines area, I have been seeing bus 28 drivers making the wrong turn and as a result they have to miss a few bus stops just to continue the route ( turning left to tampines ave 7 from tpjc and turn right to tampines st 84 to toa payoh ) .

why the hell did they change the route of 29 to become like that of 28???? it’s made my trip home longer and more expensive!

To cope with with the demand for folks staying in the area I suppose . I take bus 29 home some times and I find the load factor pretty high .

Initially I objected to the amendments but now I came to liked the new route except that buses should move a bit faster along the new routes (Tampines St 32/34/45).

29 is high liao still wan mke the route longer and have more stops abit dumb leh!!

Tampines St 32/34/45 are rather narrow streets. Therefore, drivers of Service 28 must drive carefully along these streets.

I do think that SBS Transit should consider having more new routes (feeder or merged services) to serve Tampines estate instead of making amendments to current services. This resulted in many services making huge loops around the neighbourhood before terminating at Tampines Interchange.

now why SBS extended 28 and 29 was solely becoz of resients complaning abt the links in tampines

since SBSt is trying hard not to introduce ffeder svcs (earn more money), they decided to reroute 29 and 28.

D/D buses on 28 is quite pathetic. Because they have to travel through the narrow road of St 32, 34, 45!

what the heck.......bus 29 serves a route that no other buses serve save for bus 2 which goes nowhere near tamp!! by making the distance longer for the people staying in changi is a really really big inconvinice and a waste of my money!
