PS2 game saving

Hi folks,

I am using a PS3 to play my PS2 game, Resident Evil

I created an internal memory card at Slot 1 before playing the game

When i attempted to save my game progress, it said no memory card inserted

What can i do to solve this problem?

Well , i don't have a PS3 but i have a PS2 console and when i use a PS2 console to play PS1 game , you need to have a PS1 memory card to save the game so maybe you need a PS2 memory card to save on PS3 ? Sorry , can't help you much there.
