For the 3rd consecutive year, the NUS
Students’ Computing Club will be hosting the Cyber Gaming Festival,
on the 27th and 28th of June 2009, at Game
Haven @ SAFRA. Rather than focusing on traditional gamers, the
festival will take on a different approach this year; by expanding
the festival to include activities and games for casual and
non-gamers. The theme for this year’s festival, “Seriously fun”,
promises to uncover the fun and joy in cyber-gaming, where
competitions are not just about winning, but also the fostering of
new partnerships and developing strong interests in the gaming
field.
This event is part of SHINE youth
festival supported by the National Youth Council and the Ministry
of Community Development, Youth and Sports.
