current xbox 360 price

Nikar 3 SG

hi all,

anyone knows what's the average price for an xBox 360 now (the 20 GB version)?

Deino SG

should be below 600....maybe 400-500+++

the 360 won't last long.......skali you buy the 360 now then 2 years later new one come out.....

it is estimated that the 360 and wii would last for about 5 years until they come up with another console which would most probably surpass the ps3 in terms of hardware......and then history would most likely repeat itself coz juz like the ps2, the ps3 will have more titles and it will become cheaper.......dunno lah...its just my assumption.....

mortified SG

if you want to buy a console i suggest that you buy the ps3, it has a built in blu-ray player.

thanks a lot, all!

actually, i'm buying xBox 360 just for Ninja Gaiden 2, which will be released in June 03 this year, but i do think it's a bit expensive to buy an xBox 360 just for this game...

i see on the newspapers, in most ads, the price is usually around S$699 for the 20 GB console + 2 games + 1 wireless controller.

i'm now thinking of buying a second hand version.

because i also plan to mod the xBox 360 mah, so if S$699 for the set, and you add in the mod fees, total will be around S$900++!!!

what are you talking about?

BTW, only dumb people mod their consoles nowadays because these days, everything is wireless. no internet = no update = no fun

poobum SG

i bought my x360 just for one game too. but as time goes by, you will find that there are many great games available on the xbox as well as other 3rd gen consoles. such as dead rising(x360 only), army of two, guitar hero series, rock band etc.

so i think its a worthy investment if you like to play games.

i also agree with agenda. do not mod your console. otherwise if its spoilt, they wont repair it for you.

every console has their own sets of pros and cons. dont know about the others but all in all, if you want an xbox just go get it.

Nikar 3 SG

thanks all.......yeah, i know we cannot access xBox Live if mod the console......but then, xBox Live very expensive is it? money is one thing, but i heard it's also hard to set up? have to configue the modem and those messy broadband thing....my house got only 1 modem somemore.

pls advise. thanks!

brokenluv SG

its not tt difficult actually. u just have to connect ur xbox to ur router/modem or sth, cuz i have been to my frens house who has it. xbox live is really totally cool. u can chat with frens online and using mic as well.

Nikar 3 SG

but one month how much?

because the game got downloadable content, so i just want to download the updates etc. and just stop subscribing once i got it.

Aaron8209 SG

woo still so high...aiyo....any other console price down le?cheaper....

i talking about the lifetime of wot microsoft would probably do about eh console.......

example, from ps1 to ps2 the time gap was around 10 years......

from the xbox to xbox360 the time gap was around 4 years

as for the price of the xbox, i was just estimating the price when converted from US....should be close to 500....
