hehe, I am one of those that witnessed the beginning of the project, back in 2003 Laughing when they were just starting to make the battle cruiser models and protoss carrier models, no game programming yet. I would just go onto forum and say "wow!! thats really good!!" and stuff

in this case i don't think so since warcraft III itself is a blizzard game.

previously another group of fans decided to use the C&C general engine to make a starcraft mod. Blizzard sued them and the project was cancelled.

so far blizzard close one eye. because they making it using warcraft 3 engine which is a blizzard game anyways and not Command and conquer like the other group of modders bah.

I remember if you complete Warcraft III in the Hard setting, in the closing credits you will get a cutscene of several Terran marines shooting up some Zerglings.

That's an official example of what Starcraft II would look like if it used the Warcraft III engine.

anyway from what i understand, the mod is going to follow exactly as the orginal starcraft. so it won't be like warcraft III where one can control the hero. Laughing
