1) The Manhanttan Fish Market's Fish & Chips using Cream Dory @ $ 9.90 is the more expensive than Fisherman Wharf's one @ $6.90. In fact the most expensive in town! Phin's steakhouse @ $7.90, Fisherio @ $6.90 and Chippy's @ $4.50. Less oily compared to Fish & Co. The crust over the fish is crispy yet not doughy. The batter is good. Their Alsaka Pollack for Fish & Chips @ $10.90 is unique and tastes superb! The fold of the meat is well packed; firm. yet soft, but dont quite melts in your mouth. The presentation is the same as Fish & Co.
2) The Fried Calamari is small like [b]Fish & Co. Still love Chippy's the best. Big and tasty.

marche's food is saved by all the sauces that are provided. food is nothing to boast about, very ordinary. probably the showmanship but can get lots of that in hotels' buffets. from my experiences, i had an over-cooked stir-fry vegetables. badly done calamari. over grilled steak. i can not recall a dish that i enjoyed in there except probably the salad bar with thousand island dressing. over priced for the food but well, paying for the experience and ambience in there then. Wink
