Bro u got to try harder ... stringray cost least 4 dollars per kilo at wet market so its very hard to get them at 7 per kilo. lets not forget the cost of the chilli ... banana leafs .. foil and the work to clean gut the fish ... and wrap them up ...

good size tiger prawns cost at least 12 per liko at wet market too ... but hardly any work is need to get them grilled .... i wld sugget u get red legs prawns from the wet market .. may cost ard 16 to 20 per killo depending on size and freshness ...

For seafood its really u pay what u get .... freshness and size matters ... i am sure on one wild like to eat a stinky ray or mushy prawns ...

for ray if u got to choose properly or else they may be lo ko / rubbery texture ... worse of them all is they have this anmonia / urine taste to it ...

for prawns if u decide to get those frozen ones .... they may be really mushy when cook .. u dun see the meat at all ...

well if u are looking for Yaki Niku style beef satay .. maybe i can do for u ...

DriftingGuy SG

Hmmm I know what u mean.. wet market is definitely cheaper of course..

but was actually thinking of other things like delivery to site as well as marinated sauces and all.. thats why the price quoted are more ex cos it also includes delivery costs?? Hmm gotta go ask my fren Razz
