First reason why I think it'll cost half a million..all the high
performance saloons from Germany (eg. M5, M6, CLS55 AMG, and E63
AMG) costs close to half a million in SG..so I don't see why an R8,
a mid-engined car somemore, will cost less than these other high
performance German saloons.. 
Second reason: In the UK, the R8 costs about £76,825..the
conversion rate from GBP to SGD now is about S$1 for £3..so
multiply £76,825 by about 3 to convert it to S$ and you get about
S$230,475..then you multiply S$230,475 by either the 110% or 120%
tax..I'm not too sure which one is it..but lets say multiply
S$230,475 by 110%, you will get about S$483,997..then add in your
insurance, road tax and COE, that will be about S$500,000 isn't it?
There you go..here are my major reasons why I think the Audi R8
will cost half a million sing dollars here..
