Friday13 SG Fish and Chips in Aussie land are the real deal... big and juicy...fresh catch....and the chips....big serving...wrap in tracing paper... those tat claims from Aus in local food courts are far from the Real McCoy... currently the nicest are Sony V8 and Fish & Co.
TVaddict SG there’s one stall at chong pang hawker centre… the fish is nice and the service is good. best of all, it’s only $4 if i’m not wrong
Jp1 SG I prefer Buying those ready made 1 and fry it myself cos eating at home i can put as many mayo and thai chilli sauce as i want….
mighty_megatron SG The UK doesn't even do the best Fish and Chips. I'm being serious because the fish is nine times out of ten frozen fish which loses its flavour unlike fresh fish and also the batter is usually a sponge of oil. Euuugh.... These are of course the fish and chip stores that you find littered about the country. But from experience, UK Pubs do nice fish and chips suprisingly. May I emphasise that it's 'fish and chips' not 'fish and chip'. You don't get a fish and one chip do you.
YA.YA SG My all time fav is the one at fish and Co, but a bit pricey. But i ate fish and chips in Australia Frementale, They actually served it in paper, no forks or spoon, till today still cannot forget the tatste.
ShrodingersCat SG there's is a shop at BUkit Timah that sells damn nice fish and chips BUT hor.. their take away price is like $10 and their eat-in price is like $15 or something SO might as well take over.. it is at the Greenwood.. there I think. YOu know, next to famous.. bakery shop.... that I can't rem name already.
