there's nothing wrong with being enduring but there is a whole
lot of wrong with being infidel.
and in any case, in the past, there were less divorces also in a
large part due to women's dependency on men as the sole
bread-winner... can't support themselves and kids after divorce so
just swallow all the discontentment and your so-called
"endure".
With Singapore women getting more skilled and better educated,
better equipped to make their own living, they are less willing to
suffer in silence and hence, indirectly more divorces.
and its not really the younger couples only that are getting
divorced.... some have been married for years....
and just to add, it's not always the men's fault. Have seen cases
where the women were unreasonable or infidel. So it takes both
hands to clap.
