i'm 95% done with my MG F91.

here's a pic comparing the size of 4 kits.

from left to right: 1/100 MG Ex-S, 1/100 NG Strike Freedom, 1/100 MG F91, 1/144 Strike Rouge.

Purplehaze623 SG

hmm seeing ur NG SF, will u have the same feeling as others to have a sudden harsh to get rid of it when u gotten a MG??? Laughing

Gordonator SG

u really hit me on the right spot. Laughing

u are right, i do have the urge to get rid of my NG 1/100 strike freedom since i already have 2 MG Strike Freedom. i'm also thinking of getting rid of my 1/144 Strike Noir, 1/144 destiny and 1/100 Destiny since the MG version is coming soon.

that's why nowadays i only buy MGs. Mr. Green

Purplehaze623 SG

im nt fast enough to think of tat when i start collecting...

i didnt get MG zeta and MK-II because i dunno whether should i get rid of the 1/144s... Crying or Very sad

duotiga83 SG

HGUC the kit is no problem...unless you make zeta as MA mode n MG as MS mode Mr. Green

Purplehaze623 SG

if i really want to display both waverider and MS mode, i'll get MG ver' 2.0 and white unicorn color

AND ITS $$$ AGAIN. Neutral

totohum SG

My first attempt at SD Gundam...its shocking as to how much you have to paint it to make it look decent!

Gordonator SG

finished my F91 today. pardon for bad quality as my camera really CMI.

anyway as u can see i used the small action base 2 as it's stand. i modified the stand so that it can fit the F91. i think the base looks very good on it. save a lot of space as compared to the big and bulky action base 1. =:p

Purplehaze623 SG

o.0.

if it isnt that white F91 comes with the lafressia stand, i'll get action base 2 too. Very Happy

duotiga83 SG

i like your way of finishing it...is great!!! Cool

duotiga83 SG

your 1st attempt looks great Very Happy

duotiga83 SG

not really what....thats what i did to Saviour gundam...1/100 in MA n HG as MS mode

Gordonator SG

this is my first time i'm using Mr Super semi-gloss spray on my gundam. the result looks and feels good. gives a nice rough texture. Very Happy

Purplehaze623 SG

unpainted but topcoated?

nice try Very Happy

duotiga83 SG

but the VBSR is kinda fragile.....must handle with care... Neutral

totohum SG

i like how you used the action base 2 instead of action base 1. action base 1 takes up lots of space, becomes a problem when trying to display my kits...

totohum SG

thanks, SD gundams are less complicated to build. i like them since i have the tendency to break small parts found in 1/100/MG.

Gordonator SG

yes. thanks. Very Happy

Gordonator SG

what's a VBSR? Question

Gordonator SG

but only suitable for small kits since F01 is a small kit as compared to regular MG kits.

the maximum height action base 2 can goes up is not high enough for a 1/100 scale kit.

as u can from the pic below, i have ajusted the action base 2 to its maximum height, compared with a action base 1 on the left.
