Gundam goes public transport
Seibu
Group's website states the Shinjuku line's Kamiigusa train
station in the Suginami ward of Tokyo plans to unveil a Gundam
monument in front of the station on March 23. Seibu Railway will
further commemorate the occasion by putting a Mobile Suit Gundam
headmark on one of the trains on the Shinjuku line (for a limited
time starting on the 15th) and use "Tobe! Gundam" as Kamiigusa
station's train departure chime. The station itself lies near one
of the collaborators of the event, animation studio Sunrise.
