Gackt to release Gundam album
Daily Sports Online reports that on December 19,
Gackt will be releasing "0079-0088", a new album featuring 8 songs. Gackt, a
huge Gundam freak, has previously provided the ending theme "dears"
for Gundam: The Ride as well as theme songs for the Zeta Gundam
theatrical trilogy. The 8 tracks consist of 5 of his own as well 3
others from the Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy: "Cross Of Sand",
"Ai Senshi", and "Meguriai", his first cover songs. The project,
announced on the same day Yoshiyuki Tomino celebrates his birthday,
is said to be a present for the Gundam creator.
