Singapore food on wikipedia

Food gurus of SG,

if you visit wikipedia you will undoubtedly notice that there is no article yet on Singaporean cuisine. As a result many of our local dishes have been 'stolen' under the category of 'Malaysian cuisine'.

I would request the knowledgeble experts of this forum that we each contribute a little to writing an article on Singapore's cuisine for display at wikipedia. I'm sure many here will be able to participate, since eating is what we Singaporeans do best.

This is more than just blind nationalism, as I believe despite close cultural similarities our cuisines are individually quite unique. Furthermore, the gahmen says it is our duty to promote Singapore as a food capital of Asia, let Malaysia take all our credit how can? Mr. Green

aiyah, most of the food in Singapore copied from other countries la!!
some from Malaysia, others from Indonesia.

e.g.
"martabak" is originally from Bangka Island, Bangka-Belitung Islands, Indonesia.
"nasi padang" from Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia.
