Zeta movie info
Again courtesy of akiba.tv, fans can hear comments by both Toru
Furuya and Shuichi Ikeda on the new Zeta movies. Both have said
that the recording for part 1 is finished and Furuya has commented
that the recording for Part 2 might be pushed back until fall
because of the delays caused by director Tomino's nitpicking.
Furuya further commented that apparently Tomino's wife is telling
Tomino to make Zeta easier to comprehend since she hates Zeta
because it's hard to understand.
Ikeda appeared at the Akihabara Oriental Comic Theatre on Aug 1st
while Furuya appeared on Aug 8th.
On a related note, Naoyuki Onda, the character animation director
of the Zeta movies, has posted a rather depressing note on his
diary. He mainly talked about his lack of ability to produce the
Yas-style animation and about having zero motivation now. Last, he
apologized to the Zeta fans and told them to not have high
expectations for the new animation. ¶ 2:46 AM
