New MRT in-train annoucement

If anyone of you noticed, while the train is travelling from Bukit Batok Stn to Jurong East Stn, the annoucement will be broadcasted. It goes something like this:

"Your attention please, this train will be changing to the middle platform soon. For your own safety, please hold on to the grab-poles or handle bars. Thank you."

I didn't know because I have a long time not taking a train from Bukit Batok to Jurong East.

But I did notice in the past that whenever the train is crossing over to the middle track, there will be a jerk to the right, which may cause standing passengers to lost balance if they aren't holding on to anything. The problem lies with the cross-over track.
