Hehehehhe I just started buying anime you see. I'm going to start buying more. Razz And collect them. And the figurines too. And one day I'm going to buy myself a real sword and display it at home... if it's legal. Is it legal? Like those from Caesar?

I want to buy all of Hayao Miyazaki's anime, the older ones like Nausicaa and Laputa. Think those are nicer than the widely-publicized ones like Spirited Away... Soon, soon soon soon his anime will become a collector's item... Sigh.

The anime series that you have, I've only heard of Cowboy Bebop, Samurai X and Van Dread... Neutral Are they good? Maybe I can trade my French movies with you heehee.

I want to watch Naruto. Sad

Mr Chumpa Woompa SG

Oh... Record them? Neutral

Where do you normally buy your stuff?

the Bear SG

those you mentioned are GOOD.. except for Van Dread which is kinds silly..

Noir is excellent..

i haven't seen Nausicaa on sale actually.. if i did, i'd have bought it...

oh, also somewhere in the house is Akira - Director's Cut...

anyhoooo... as aforementioned, anyone is free to borrow my stuff, just name the place and time to see if i can go meet up Wink

Mr Chumpa Woompa SG

Oh oooookie.

Hmmm. Do you know I'm mookie? Mr. Green

the Bear SG

i don't have a VCR...

anyway, i get them at Sim Lim Square.. too lazy to find other places.. and the movies you saw were bought in Penang for a measly RM8 each!

the Bear SG

yes.. figured that out from day one.. the way you write Wink

Mr Chumpa Woompa SG

WOW! RM8!! Shocked Are they genuine? Mr. Green

Hmmm or u could get a DVD recorder... I wonder who else still uses VCR like me... Laughing

Mr Chumpa Woompa SG

*oops*

Embarassed

Mr. Green

the Bear SG

genuine? of course not Twisted Evil

but then, it's put there as DVD9.. and since they're cartoons, my colleagues (they don't know me at Harbourfront) let me bring those in Wink

as for a DVD Recorder, i don't see much use for one, so i'm content with my cheapo $95 Akira DVD player Wink

SnowFlag SG

hmm...seem like all here today Cool

Mr Chumpa Woompa SG

Ohh ohh.... Not genuine. Confused Quality compromised or not? I feel like checking out HMV, but I can't bring myself to look at the price tag. I'm sure they cost over $70. Neutral But they're real... and worth collecting.... Sighhhhh.

Mr Chumpa Woompa SG

Gooooooot evening!!!!! Very Happy

the Bear SG

of course not.. it's digital.. you will get a perfect copy...

anyway, those at Sim Lim, although genuine, do not have region codes, so it's basically like the DVD9s

and if from Japan, the price will be obscene.. i bought an OST music CD imported from Japan for $70!! (but worth it! want a copy of it? Twisted Evil )

in other news, still got your little thumb piano Wink

looks like this:

Mr Chumpa Woompa SG

Oooo yes yes... my much-missed love! Embarassed I must be one of the worst people to buy things for. Razz Ermmm... when is the next outing-with-90%-of-people-I-know-fairly-well?

SGpork SG
