wah lao eh...what u wanna put inside u ownself go buy and add lah...kaoz...so inflexible for what?

R3SsH|n SG

no...i mean how did the tua suan eaten with you tiao thingy started...there must be a reason to it mahz...

Danisdead101times SG

maybe in the old days..the "you tiao" is something cheap and affordable for everyone to eat? so when they eat the "tao suan" will always add the "you tiao" in and they just bring this tradition down to the later generations lor~

Danisdead101times SG

or maybe cuz "you tiao" is something that you only find in the morning, its a breakfast..and so is "tao suan" and porridge...and people find that its tasty eating "tao suan" and porridge with the "you tiao" so that is why when there is "tao suan" there will be "you tiao" in it~

maybe it started with other things but nobody wants to eat. eventually it evolved to you tiao and everybody loves it.

hence what we have today.
