MooKu SG Umm the previous was a beta Hope this one will be better The previous one took kinda long to load too.. I wonder why. Anyway.... BOOST!
MooKu SG I went to the library and borrowed the book "Blues for Dummies" There are a couple of things I don't understand.. I guess I'll only do after listening to a couple of songs
the Bear SG i never read.. i just listened.. listen with heart and soul, not just ears.. and you'll know why they're called "The Blues"
MooKu SG i've always wanted to figure out how exactly blues were written so I could write my own too... i loved watching my friend play all-bluey on the spot.. just a few chords and it sounded so niceeeee.... aaaa i need to go to bed now.. i can feel the gastric pains coming. nite bear!
MooKu SG eeeeeeeeeeeeeee why i/you always miss you/me by a few minutes one i was drinking cold milk while sitting in front of the PC last nite
MooKu SG today never read.. hehe.. i was out the whole day Norah Jones and Michael Buble are considered jazz artists is it? I can't really differentiate between jazz and blues, especially after reading that Dummies book. A magazine labelled the two as jazz...
the Bear SG they would be jazz.. but who cares? listen to what you like most of the stuff i listen to, i don't even know what to call it
MooKu SG hmm.. i wanna write blues/jazz so i gotta be clear about them one day, ONE DAY, hopefully soon, I will be able to play Rhapsody in Blue *dreamily*
the Bear SG you want the orchestral and piano versions of Rhapsody in Blue? i have also, Still Got The Blues... have a listen.. if you do, drop me your MSN thingy for a quick file transfer
the Bear SG score... i bought for my ex so it's either still with her or thrown away... was talking about the MP3s
the Bear SG it isn't there anymore... now it's been taken over by a comic shop at Specialist Shopping Centre.. you're near Parkway Parade, could try Kawai.. maybe they have? oh, Rhapsody in Blue is NOT easy.. want the Gary Moore songs?
MooKu SG kawai? Parkway, after renovation still got Kawai? It used to be at the basement, but now don't have already.. did they relocate? Gary Moore songs... ermm who is gary moore hmm but i must play Rhapsody in Blue one day... even if it takes me a year or more to practise that piece to a playable-level..
the Bear SG i think it's in the corner of the 2nd floor or something.. there's a sports shop there before you reach Kawai... Gary Moore.. accessible Blues as for Rhapsody, my ex (who is a really talented piano player) said it could have taken her a year it's that hard
