Hi hi,
quite of honored that during my little stay in sgforums, I'm still
remembered (or penalised!
)
Anyway, I like to sing broadway too, only I'm not allow to teach
them in my school, unless of course my student wants.
I hope my post on Diaphragm doesn't get distort out of the point,
because what I meant was it shouldn't be the view as the main point
of singing. In fact, in proper vocal studies, diaphragm training is
meant to tackle the more important/difficult part, which is getting
the proper resonance, i.e. vocal registers.
To sum it up,
good diaphragm usage ---> good breathing ---> better use of
different vocal registers.
