kopiosatu SG You may not have seen an EWI in use but it's almost certain you have heard them as they are used by leading session players the world over and have been featured on numerous film and TV soundtracks.
S!ndy SG haha.. i noe.. press too hard got the marks above the lips.. ya.. same as wat my seniors told me.. speed of air.. i tink i'm the lousiest player in my whole section.. i sure die.. my conductor is a trombonist lo.. professional.. sure wil get scoldings from him one day..
kopiosatu SG erm, dunno the price... but the person who uses it in t-square knows how to use the sax... so i guess its the same as the saxaphone... hmmm one day i let you listen to their music... or if you see AngelDark around, can ask him for the files... i sent my whole collection to him
the Bear SG anyone heard of this guy called Mark Wood? he played his own 6-string electric violins.. he called himself a "heavy-metal violinist" his instruments remind me of the thing kopi posted electric versions of something acoustic
MooKu SG aiyah one important thing when in such a band... you must NOT think of yourself as the lousiest player. Have confidence in yourself. You need the confidence to express yourself well through the instrument. Playing in a band is for performance, so how can you not have enough confidence? You must believe in yourself that one day you will become a better player! Miracles do happen. Trust me.
the Bear SG keep at it music is wonderful.. just wish i could play an instument i only have my croaky voice
MooKu SG The voice is the most basic instrument through which the heart speaks Croaky or not, it is an instrument heehee.
the Bear SG 'tis what do you listen to? i've been influenced by my uncles who used to listen to Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and all these.. so i'm kinda skewed towards these types.. however, i listen to almost everything hmm.. one of these days, set up some kinda MP3 swapping thing.. whoever is looking for songs, just post and we share
S!ndy SG classical music? those kind of band music lo.. not very sure wad it's called.. as long as played by instruments can liao..
MooKu SG i think orchestral.. wind orchestral... or something.. i never quite got it right too.. always just called it BAND MUSIC lol
S!ndy SG haha.. tink it's lidat la.. our so called BAND MUSIC.. quite nice listening to them.. then sometimes will try to spot the instruments used to play the pieces lo..
the Bear SG orh.. that i dunno what it's called either i left the CD of Vivaldi's Four Seasons as done by Nigel Kennedy with Her.. really like it but i think She likes it more than me hopefully, one day, it will become co-owned again for a guy who like rock music, people find it strange that i actually like Opera should listen to Dame Maria Callas... she has the most wonderful voice...
