And here's the story behind this video, translated from my poor
command of Chinese.
The Girl in Red
"The Girl in Red" was a home video taken by a Taiwanese family who
were hiking at the countryside of Taichung. The video was taken in
March 1998 at in the afternoon.
After the video was recorded, the family did not touch the tape and
left it inside the cam. After a short while (a few days, months? it
was not stated), one of the family members passed away.
It was then that someone suggested that the family watch the video
to bring back some good memories of the person that passed
away.
It was then that they realised that in the video, the person who
passed away, while coming down a slope, had smiled for the camera
and there was evidently a pair of fangs in his mouth!
They also realised that in another shot, there was a little girl in
red following them.
Here's the creepy part.
None of the family members remembered seeing this girl during the
whole trip. And she wasn't part of the family either. there was no
way we could have missed seeing her there, says one family
member.
The whole place was one big forested area, with no villages or
houses within a large radius (impossible to walk into the area).
Anyone walking past or following them, the family would have
clearly noticed them.
