"My wife and I hosted our annual Halloween party on Saturday
October 25th (2003). This was the first picture I took of the
evening and was taken at 10:10 MST. The setting on the camera was
wrong and the flash did not go off. I was taking a photo of Batman
and the man to my left of him holding a bottle (below). The
"figure" to my right of Batman (close-up above) was not there when
I took the photo. The only person at the party who was as short as
the "figure" was a woman dressed as a turtle and she was sitting on
a couch in front of Batman when the photo was taken.
We often feel a presence in our living room. The chair I usually
sit in is normally where the man holding the bottle is standing.
Often when I sit there I get glimpses of something to my right and
behind me. It happens all the time and it always startles me. We
have lived in this house for three years and are the fourth owners
since it was built in 1950. We don't know any history of who lived
here or what has happened over the years.
This is an absolutely unretouched digital photograph. This is my
first digital camera and I have taken less than 100 photos. I don't
have a clue how to manipulate images and have just figured out how
to attach it to an e-mail."
