beside china sq there’s hock lam beef noodles, sushi tei, hans, don (that pie thing), ya kun..basically lots of stuff inside china sq and far east sq. hope that helps.

golden shoe carpark hawker centre not bad, cheap and good, closing for renovations in may

got nasi lemak (a few stalls), bak chor mee, lor mee (famous one on third floor)

or try the clifford centre food court but i havent been there before

hong lim also got good food,crayfish horfun on second floor, next to it got spaghtetti and next to that got famous bak chor mee also

and also first floor hong lim got this sotong ball mee/rice/tunghoon very nice also

yah, the outam park char kwey tiao at hong lim on the second floor is a must try.... long queue during lunch time.....

The area near by Tanjiong Pagar Railway Station the old canteen the food also not bad
