the Bear SG You mean the one at Fairy Point? I heard about it also... I stayed in the actual place once when I was a child, there were no complaints by the adults but then, all of them pulled an all-nighter on the mahjong table, so I guess maybe they don't count.
duotiga83 SG later in the evening i'll b going the SAF 1...that urual chalet 1......near the exhibition 1.........wonder there got or not.....
the Bear SG Not sure... one of the relatives who got it was a civil servant.. that was many years ago...
the Bear SG That's the thing.. nothing happened We all had a good time there playing at the beach, catching crabs swimming, and all that The adults played mahjong. No spooks or whatever
PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0 SG To add on to the Labrador tunnel saga... Pix of the blocked tunnel entrance that supposedly leads to Sentosa... So why is the tunel blocked? Does it really lead to Sentosa??
PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0 SG Originally posted by PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0: [b]"Before this, people have been telling me that one end of the underpass, the one leading to the sea, will always be dark, no matter what time is it or how good the lights are. Its TRUE!! " "I wanted to get back to East Coast Park but half way through the underpass, I noticed a long and hollow square tube in the ceiling. If Im not wrong, it indicates the central divider of the highway above. It is very dark and my first reaction was, Wah! Surely got ghost inside. See it for yourself...and note the scratch marks on the wall... b]To add on to the earlier discussion abt the Bayshore - East Coast Park underpass... To the Bayshore condominiums. To the sea, always dark at the end. Check out The Rings of Darkness. It is believed that certain parts of the stairs are always wet. Allegedly, a pregnant lady slipped and fall to her death here.
MooKu SG One of the tunnels leading to Labrador Park can be found in St Andrew's Junior College. I've never seen it for myself though, just heard it from a friend studying there. She mentioned that the end of the tunnel is blocked.
PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0 SG Yah I heard of the SAJC tunnel too...maybe the tunnels are linked to each other? Anyway, was SAJC used in WW2? As a military installation? If not, why are there tunnels linked to SAJC?
MooKu SG Huh... Is SAJC THAT old...? I'm not sure. Maybe I'll ask my friend about it. How does the tunnel look like? She mentioned it was just beside the canteen
PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0 SG Hmm...dunno...cos I also heard this.. Seems like a student managd to enter the tunnel and explored it...after walking inside it for a while...he saw an exit, came out and found himself in Sentosa... Dunno how true that is
wuming78 SG wah lao... all the stories abt haunted stations... ignorance is realli bliss man! how i wish i haven read wat u posted! i would guess there wud be more when the NEL opens, especially the part of the line in serangoon that cuts through the rather big cemetery there. hm... the exhumation of the graves there being done and has been done.. its not due to the mrt line rite?
MooKu SG Hmmm. Hee. I called my buddy. She said the tunnel actually looks pretty man-made. As in, it looked as if it was built into the school rather than the school built onto it. And she thought it looked pretty recently (last ten years) built, rather than built decades ago. Some of them went into the tunnel and walked walked but found it blocked at the end. The tunnel's supposed to lead to Labrador Park leh.
PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0 SG Hmm....i think the exhumation was not because of the NEL... however the NEL that cuts through Serangoon is pretty near to Mount Vernon cemetary... I think we can expect to hear more stories from these NEL stations once the trains start plying there..
tranquilice SG The NEL tunnels that leads from Woodleigh station is just beside the Bidadari cementaries.
chua22 SG i think it got something to do with a very big old building jus beside SAJC..... its located on top of a small hill.......
SingaporeTyrannosaur SG I think the govt. sealed off the tunnels for safety reasons some time back. They do lead to sentosa, use by them brits.
