transferring SMS to new hp

I had been using prepaid but gonna switch to singtel mobile plans soon.

I know that contacts can be transfered to the new phone. But can SMS be transfered to the new one too?

Cos some of the messages are really important or even memorable to me, don't wanna lose them.

u can backup the SMS (into ur computer or SD card)

You can save 15smses in your sim card. Yes, 15.

If you using a smart phone, you can copy the SMSes to text, and paste. And if the phone is smarter, it can export to a text file that can be read on your computer.

But I guess if you have a whole thread full of sms, I think screen shots would be ideal.

15 not enough leh. And it's a old shitty LG Optimus One aka P500. Dont even know how can i take screen shot with it. Does it even allow screenshot at the first place. D:

If you can access google play store, you can download an app that does screenshots, without root.
