Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Or Samsung galaxy S4

I have thought through this for a very long time, but still have not come out with a decision.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active - Pros: Water resistant IP67(Dust and water resistant for uo to 1 metre for 30mins)

Able to take Aqua shot

More rugged design

Which means if i not careful drop into water, the phone will likely not short circuit and die.

Cons: Unlike normal S4 no Super Amoled(LCD instead)

Instead of 13 megapixel on normal S4, it is only 8 megapixels.

Lastly, no dual shot, that means take picture of yourself and insert it into the picture

(Actually this feature is quite useless :-/)

Gorilla Glass 2 instead of Gorilla glass 3 on the normal S4, so screen is weaker to shock.

Pls voice ur opinions, i really need it, need to get my phone fast before Iphone 4 price drop, after release of 5S

I would get the iphone 5 with a lunatik case, otherwise the otterbox armor clad case.

Thks Ditzy, but the S4 active is not as bulky as the iphone 5 lunatik case, so i'm not really drawn in by the idea, thks for the opinion tho.

You should know what your personal requirements are like.

If you're active and run with your phone strapped to your arm with Runkeeper activated - get the active version. Which was precisely why I bought the water- and shock- resistant Sony Xperia V.

Otherwise, just get the standard S4, and don't drop it in the toilet bowl.

I have friends who frequent the beach with a Sony Xperia Z...

She usually strap it to her arm and, best of all, just pour water over it to clean off the sand~

You are too greedy already.Iphone 4 is good enough already.I have not use an iphone before.Now using payphones and mp3 player which cost 12 dollars 2nd hand from cashconverters.

I would go for the S4. The active is good but way to pricey for the spec.

Although ti would be handy if this happens!!
