aiyo! SG Is Jalan Kayu's roti prata the best in Singapore? The boss and his workers are quite friendly but I thought the kosong prata is a little too small.. Hmmm... Recently, my friend introduced me to one Indian coffeeshop at Duku Road which serves great, large, and cheap prata. I had an egg with onion prata about the size of a sheet of letter at only $1.40!!! Name the best prata you even had!!
BrUtUs SG went jalan kayu, prata onli soso la... if u wan big 1s can go north bridge rd opposite the mosque, got 2 prata shop but cant remember which liao... ok 1s can try the 1 at suntec...
Friday13 SG I think Simpang Bedok and a indian restuarnt at a void deck of Chai Chee Street is good (don remember athe blk). Anyway for me....as long as both the prata and the curry gravy is "hot"...is good enuff for me.. I have tasted prata that are serve cold in some coffeeshops....very yucky....
Danisdead101times SG bukit timah~ just opp the beauty world~ not bad…if im not wrong the name should be shah alam or something like that~
vito_corleone SG suntec’s one quite good..near the convention center called congress or something..1.60 for a huge egg prata.
Camellias4me SG The Roti Prata House @ Upper Thomson Road. There's another "Prata King" juz few doors away so don't go to the wrong 1. Its right at the corner near Standard Chartered. Kosong prata is abit small but its a muz try! Oh.. their beehoon goreng is good too. Open 24hrs. "Famous" faces often spotted: Allan Wu & Wong Li-Lin, Eunice Olsen.
gentlerock SG Is it my imagination, or is prata getting more rare nowadays? Last time everywhere got Indian shop selling prata at night...now a lot seems to have closed down. Also, I find that many of the pratas are very salty nowadays. Either the prata or the curry. Does anyone else feel the same way? By the way, Fann Wong lives at Upper Thomson too.
aiyo! SG I sorta see the same things happening too. Alot of prata stalls dun survive long. Haha.. even b4 i got the chance to taste it
