Change my SIM card from M1 to Singtel

I am now an M1 prepaid card user, and I want to change to Singtel. I know I can go directly to Singtel shop with my passport. But the problem is that I bought my SIM card using my friend's passport and now we live far away. So it is not convenient to ask her to go ther with me. So can I just ask a copy of passport from her and go there myself?

My second question is that I want to change the user name of the SIM card to myself. So is it possible that Singtel will process my request on spot and I can change my user name right after proting in?

The last question is that if I have a lot balance in my M1 card, will the balance be transferred to my new Singtel SIM card?

u cannot change the provider for prepaid and transfer the balance.

so u have to go ST and register a new card under ur name

and inform everyone the chg of lumber.
