I'm currently under a job attachment for 7 months. Its a place
with quite high security hence camera phone is not allowed.
Currently I'm using an iPhone and I'm considering whether I should
get a dual sim card for a second phone or prepaid card. My working
hour is from 9am-5pm. I would secretly bring my iPhone in but I
would only use it before or after my working hours. During my
working hour, I will receive an average of 5 calls and 2-3 smses
related to work. I also do not want to switch sim card here and
there as iPhone users know sim card is very difficult to remove
from the iPhone.
Dual SIM card service: This is the most conivenent method as
during office hour, I just use my non-camera phone (still enjoying
the free incoming calls and unlimited smses) and after office hour
I just switch to my iPhone. However this service cost a one-time
registration fees of $50 plus $5 every month. Considering that I
only require this for 7 month, it's quite costly.
Prepaid card: This is the cheapest method. During office hour I
would just off my iPhone and divert all the calls to the non-camera
phone with the prepaid card. But I dont get to enjoy the unlimited
sms and free incoming call service from my plan.
So now my question is, considering that this is only for 7
month, which option should I choose? Thanks!
