hi people

i intend to get a 2nd hand blackberry bold which is from singtel

but i am using starhub sim card

will it be compatiable?

as in will some of the functions be locked?

in Singapore...no SIM lock on phones, due to trade treaty...all phones can be used by all telcos...

the problem is not with the Singtel/M1/Starbucks....there's no compatibility issue, its that you must understand what's a Blackberry.

To make full use of it...to receive push-mail, use the PIN messaging between blackberry users, etc, u must be logged on to the telcos' blackberry server.

To do that, you must sign up for a Blackberry data plan....now quite affordable already. used to be S$60/mth....now i think from $12 - 35 a month can get....
