My 2nd experience was close to what he described. I had some
control, but my knees were giving way and I had barely enough
control to prevent myself from smacking my face against the floor.
The result was much swaying then I collapsed. My SI came and told
me to lie down so that the medics could carry me out. But I could
only hear but not respond. My eyes were open but I could not see.
It was damn scary.
My bunk mate wasn't that lucky. He donged the SAF day, and then
after a long fight, his chin hit the ground, and blood spilled out
like mad. It was gross.
Both of us had lack of sleep bcos the mozzies were bugging us at
night. And we paid the price whenever we opened the window at
night.
