skid SG I think you'll find most cars of the hot rod type and similar body style have the engines exposed.

turbo_drift SG Oh, i see i see.. Some of the pictures that you've posted, some of the cars' engine have been exposed. But when it comes to accident or even repairing, there's no need for the repairman to take out the covers, just repair straight away.. Cheers..
skid SG a couple of them had the hoods up just to show off their engine modifications...the owners take a lot of pride in their cars, i think most, if not all, would do any necessary repairs themselves.
