NekoRin SG don't like the way DC and Marvel protray their heroes and heroines, all look like so perfect in physique and looks, doesn't seem really close to what the common folk.

NekoRin SG hmm nope leh, as compared to DC and Marvel. It really depends on which artist drew the manga. Japanese manga in all focus more on cute stuff and covers all areas including relationships, history, occupations, sports etc.
hisoka SG problem is you are comparing like one genre of comics in US(?) against the whole lot of comics in japan. not exactly fair i would say. though i do prefer manga

NekoRin SG haha true true. my bad :3 Hmm only thing I can say is that in terms of art, DC and Marvel are winners due to posture. In terms of unique storylines (comparing the same genre) not deep plots, Japanese has the edge. There are little stories in Marvel and DC that protray the hero in a losing side. (The title "Berserk" comes into mind)
hisoka SG true i guess, although i think mr fantastic not muscular. x-men got this fat guy as villian considered mah?? prof X poor physique legs cannot use some more btw i've always wondered, superman obviously never works out or doesn't have the equipment to work out without being discovered, so how does he get his abs and muscles?
