That's one of my greatest fear. How did it happen? Did you lose alot? I've been shredding every bit of junk mail we get. Even addresses on catalogs. When we were overseas, we were kinda protected by distance. Now that we're back stateside, I'm so on my guard. The crime rate here is just incredible. Hubby told me that his co-worker who lives in military housing had his house broken into. They took money, a laptop and other expensive stuff. On hindsight I think moving back up to WA is the best thing.

oh, don't worry about it. you have home insurance right? if you have newspaper, remember to stop delivery. just don't leave sign that you are away lah.

when my friends go away, we check on their house every now and then and make sure no newspaper on their driveway. that is usually the first sign that no one's home. especially if you see a pile of newspaper.

you will agree that we are more helpful or close knit when we are away from "home" right? like we help each other out right?

yah, identity theft is scary. i shred everything too.

no, no money lost. the bank i work for is *ahem* very diligent. hee hee...

well, of course all my banking stuff are with this bank lah because i'm staff mah. got staff benefits. the fraud dept, once they sense something amissed, they call me up. go through all the up to date transactions. confirmed all transactions are legitimate, then cancel my card and re-issue. so lucky no issue for me. that already made me wary liao. so now, i more careful lah.

Studying IT now. Hope to get into the networking or security field. Science is just interest, more of like reading to know more.

My hubby's in that field in the navy. But he says he wants to get started in the accounting field. The IT landscape is always changing and you forever have to keep abreast of changes. Gets very tiring.

IT is all right. Didn't need to keep up as much as I expected, it's slowing down. But when mixed with biology, it is moving real fast. I can barely keep up. No end to learning definitely. Keeps my brain active. Just find idling around not myself.

Yeah... but so far, for me, it's still ok. Not too tiring to catch up. Maybe when I'm older it will be different.
