just my two cents.
I think they are just too many history behind in this forum.
And when "new" christians as per new to the forum comes in, they
tend to add comments without understanding what had happen and this
adds fuel to the existing fire.
another reason, (no disrespect to any) is fear. locally, U can
go around commenting on Christianity but till date, there is no
real action. but try to do that against other religion, ISD will
come knocking on the door.
also with the internet, everyone suddenly turns into PhD of
information. As long as someone mentions something, it gets quoted,
and used, irregardless of whether the person is widely recognised,
accepted, supported.
lastly, with internet, everyone becomes an armchair warrior. In
an open forum, there is no credibility, no audit, so they just come
in with their verbal vormit. If I don't like a forum, a topic, I
just bash. Ban me, I come in with another email account. What's
difficult?
Normally, if U notice, those who are really deep in their own
religions or beliefs will only come in to share their knowledge and
information, never to convert, bash or put down.
Anyway, for those reading, no offense to any, and do use a pinch
of salt. Look carefully at the people replying or responding, if U
feel they are just sprouting nonsense, just ignore.
Even dogs chasing their own tails get tired after a while,
right?

comment on xtianity the way Rony and Mark does?
because there were no Muslim leader who try to take over
AWARE?
because there were no Hindu priest distributing hostile
materials?
because compared to christians, there is hardly any one on the
street pressuring you to go temple cell groups?
