Straits Times Paper today say New Creation Church raised
$21million in a single day for their new church. The new church to
be built at Buona Vista, is actually a combined church, retail and
shopping mall, worth $1,000,000,000. I typed out all the numbers to
show how much frickin' money it is.
$500 million is being provided by Capitamall and another
company. The New Creation Church's own kitty is at
$250,000,000.
Let's see. Used to be the Church helped the poor, helped the
disadvantaged.
Now churches are investing hundreds of millions of dollars in
property.
I wanna know how I can build my own church, then get my 22,000
followers to raise $21 million for me, so I can retire in my 3
storey condo, mercedes benz saloon, and still have thousands of
people think I am wonderful.
I can't think of any normal church which costs so much to
build!
Even religion is moving beyond the poor.
