any syncretic religion that combines elements of other religions is a cult

for example: T'ienTao (TianDao) or I-Kuan-Tao (Yiguandao) in Asia , Cao Dai in Vietnam and Ch'ondogyo in South Korea

they are considered a 'cult' to any religion which they have syncretized, therefore they can be considered Christian cult, Buddhist cult, Catholic cult, Taoism cult at the same time

Roman Catholicism is the original church and trace lineage from St Peter

in this aspect, Protestantism is the biggest cult

cults are not banned in singapore, simply because there isnt any definition for one

its only those that threatened secular rules and social order which got banned, ie, JW etc

I'm curious about Seven Day Adventist. Is it mainstream Christianity. Is it true their followers are vegetarian ? Anyone knows.

I am not sure abt seven day adventist church.

As for vegetarian. In the bible before we humans are allowed to eat meat we eat plants . After the noah flood we are allowed eat meat.First humans in bible are vegetarian but now we can eat meat. God gave permission.

But bible is not against vegetarianism. U want eat vegetarian food it's ok. ( as long never sacrifice to idols)

Not sure. I am not from there. But vegetarianism is not important to Christians.

We can be vegetarians for health reasons.

so JW is a cult right? and they are banned.

maybe the definition of cults is simply one that threatened secular rules and social order which in itself cover a wide scoop...

but then Protestantism don't threatened secular rules and social order right? if they do, then surely kena banned by now.... so how do they fit in as cult? i am just borrowing your own definition of cults....

but having said that, maybe the mega churches may one day be banned juding from the shit they are dishing out....

What kind of animals may we eat?

It's another website dedicated to suckers only.

Q&A time.

"Since you are a skeptic and don't believe in the Bible, why have you spent so much time creating the SAB?

SAB author Steve Wells : - Because so many people believe it to be the Word of God -- most of whom have never read it and are not familiar with its contents. I'd like people to look carefully at the Bible and decide if it is worthy of their belief. That's all. When, if ever, people stop believing in the Bible, I'll take my site down. "

Is his statement true? The website is still up in the internet? Then SAB has failed it's main purpose.

Isn't it clearly stated when people stop believing in the Bible, he'll take his site down by then. Since the site is not yet taken down, that means people is still believing the Bible at this point of time la.

He can't take down his site now, because now still got at least one person who believes in the Bible, and that person is YOU.

these are 2 separate posts, why you lump the logic together?
