One thing I find troubling about christianity is that those that
do not believe in christ go to hell...it seems to go against the
teachings of Jesus..any one care to elaborate?
Many Christians (eg Catholics) have never believed this
strange 'doctrine'. To do so would be to say that we are God,
as only He has the final authority to decide who goes to heaven and
who goes to hell.
Jesus Christ has won salvation for His followers, but they have
to demonstrate through their charitable actions that they
desire this salvation. He is not going to 'force' it on
anyone.
I have many non-Christian friends and seeing what good
people they are, I am sure that somehow, God will
look on them favourably when their time comes.
