go explain to your brethrens here that deformed babies are due to genetics and have nothing to do with god. we are certainly not the creations of god, we are the product of our parents.

Rooney9 SG

how do DNA and genetics not conform to G_d's views?? I am not with them lot FYI. So Yahweh is responsibile for creating man, so He invented our DNA, who else could come up with such a complex yet simple way of encoding the information that gives us life??

how is DNA and genetics in line with satanism??

oh my now comes the interesting part. now you are linking DNA as god's creations. this truly astounded me now back to square one again

because its not written in the bible. how do u know DNA is not satanism? satanism could come in the disguise of science what , just like the bible consider other faiths as the works of satan. science is a new religion, so doesnt it falls under satanism in the eyes of the bible?

you have not answered my question, how does DNA and genetics link with satanism? what is there to explain?? you say that we are not creations of G_d, but then how did we come to exist? the theory postulated by darwinism is just that a theory that cannot be proven, even today no one can create life. you can put all the basic building blocks together in a lab experiment, but still cannot create life. how do you then explain that??

please go and do your research, you make very sweeping statements that make no sense... are science and G_d mutually exclusive? So just because it is not written in the bible it is satanism?

life and our universe has no beginning at all. why must there be a beginning. if there is a beginning, surely there must be an end. it is simple to attribute life and the universe to a creator because this explains everything very easily. god create DNA, sperm etc etc which is the building blocks of life. god created the earth in 6 days and many others. no need to rack your brains out and just say god created this.

anyway I know how your faiths works lar. I certainly do not agree there is a creator in our midst. although science cant explain everything, but it helps to dispel the myths of so many things. unfortunately our ancient ancestors did not get to share the knowledge that we have. at least we now know that tsunamis is not the act of god, same as volcanic eruptions. if u study geography, you will know. we know earth was round and not square.

anyway I do not think you can fathom a world without a creator. einstein said, everything is relative. it does not exists independently, but depending on causality. as for the big bang, it is a theory, but it is a better alternative to the concept of a creator.

this is your pov... i respect that.. but you still have not proven your case that G_d does not exist.

the onus is on you, not me to prove there is a god. if you say there is a god, proof it. why should I prove it anyway? I didnt say there is a god in the first place. but then let me advise you that, if there are proof, you should proof it once and for all this issue so that we can put this to bed. can I suggest, if god talks to you next time, can you tape it and present it as evidence.

breytonhartge SG

for you to ask me for proof that G_d exists, then I should also have that same right to ask for you to prove that He does not. You already said that you believe that there is no creator. So prove that statement.

simple lar. because till date, there is no proof of photos, videos, audios that god existed. until you there provide the proof, there are no god. but then if you have proof, you and your brethrens will present them to the whole world by now isnt it. then textbooks, journals and newspapers, magazines will all report that there is god after all. if not, the debate of whether god exists wouldnt lasts until now.

if i'm the believer, i will have deeper thoughts on those questions post by non believers. these questions worth deeper thoughts. if they do not appeal to you that you need deeper thoughts, that means you are following your faith blindly.

they usually post irrelevant stuff like 'opinions are like assholes, everyone has one' without contributing anything to the discussion

then they will call you troublemakers to nicely divert the attention away from topic proper

this forum failed because

1. the refusal to accept that this is a Christian-themed forum.... the incessant declaration that it is public forum fails to hide the fact that there is a theme, and if you don't like the theme, get lost. Of course anyone can post if they want to ask a question, but many TS are just looking for a fight.

2. the inability for non-Christian and atheists to stay away.... nobody is pointing a gun at you to ask you to read things that you don't agree about.... KPKB for what? It will be equally wrong for Christians to do the same thing to the Buddhist forum.

3. the refusal to accept that the previous mods had the rights to remove and lock threads that are deemed inappropriate.... if mods go no rights, mod for what?

I fail to understand the mentality of people who, for no rhymes or reason, continue to support the popularity of a forum that they do not agree on.... each time a post comes in, it boost the rating of Eternal Hope.

These people are either too damn free, or as delusional as the Christians that they are trying to discredit by boosting the rating of EH.... either way... thank you... because of you, EH cannot die.

i beg to differ.

from my interaction with Rooney9 in other threads, he failed to answer my question and he did admit that "I have yet to see a coherent and logical replies posed by non believers." [You can find this post in the thread he started on Namecalling and mudslinging]

While he has been honest about this point (to his credit) i cannot say the same for other non believers. We all need to think a bit more about our positions, not just for non theists. I say this to remind myself too as a theist.
