The main christian denominations consider priesthood/pastorship
as a vocation.
Something is wrong when suddenly words like "job, employees,
income, investments, bunsinesses and royalties" are used to
describe religion.
But I am not here to convert the misguided.
Really.
I did not use them to describe religion. I am just
saying pastors are people who are able to do investments, start up
businesses, gain royalties from books that they have
written.
What term would you use for people working in a church? Whether
is it employee, church staffs, church worker, I don't think it
matters.
For salary, job.. you get what I mean. There's nothing wrong in
using this terms for a church. :)
