brey, i am sure u noe tat not all christians agree that
salvation can be lost...i remember tat u urself used to believe in
OSAS...this however, is besides the pt...
personally, i agree wif u tat we need to keep doing
gd after we have been saved by grace...i dun subscribe to
OSAS...some of the non-christians here have misunderstood salvation
by grace to be wad christians term as cheap grace...tat explains
some of the flaming cos they tink christianity is abt getting saved
by grace and then can go round doing evil...i can understand the
misunderstanding cos unless u realli have a firm foundation in
christianity, one will not understand how we are saved by grace yet
gd works is stll necessary BUT at the same time, salvation is NOT
by gd works...its the presence of 2 seemingly diff teachings(grace
and gd works) that has confounded them, including some
christians as well...
Well put.
I used to believe OSAS, but no longer.. once one has a greater
understand of the word, you begin to see things is a very different
light. These two teachings of grace and good works are not mutually
exclusive, neither are they that confounding. I believe once one
understands the word from the original intent of Yahweh, they will
be able to see how these two ideas flow.
