more members means more dough.............
Yes, more members means more money. But what is it they do with
the money, you must consider that as well.
Not just with churches but any group/associations. You have more
people, it is not surprisingly you have a bigger budget.
It is a different thing however to be lavish about it.
You need to clear your stereotype especially since when people
have already mentioned before to you examples that are outside of
your stereotype. Not all churches are about money first and many
churches do not even practice prosperity gospel. Something that has
been brought up to you before.
And not all priests and pastors are like as you say, earning
lots of money, driving big cars, living in condos.
If you would like, I can
easily get you in contact with a few pastors of different churches
and different denominations, and you can take a look at where their
churches are and the size. I'm sure we can ask also if they'd be
willing to let you visit their homes.
