Well Christian made it easy....impart its history evolved when God asked its people what they want and they choose a "Man ruler" - David. As such total patriarch of faith and loyalty become 2nd nature to the human representative of Singularity.

In the new testament we are introduce being safed by Jesus from Dead. But more importantly we are now introduce the concept of being SAFED. The kingdom beyond this plane is accessible by man. Thru Jesus another human form representative of Singularity.

So as it evolved the current christian only bought this concept of Faith and being safed. But more importantly to the comtemporary Civilization we are now being introduce to embrace Death. The New Death is being sAfed by believing in Christ.

And as it evolved on the whole, I find christian are ignorance of the comprehension of the Human soul. partly because that is not needed so long as you have Faith.

PS: That is why i started the thread on where does the soul goes after life passing.

The real face of God is reflected in the Old Testament was never a Nice God. It was a God that demand total devotion and had shown its abilities to KILLed and destroy. It was a God that show its true color.

Man who came into contact with God has been afraid of its power and the totality dominance it has over Man's consiousness.

And thus the last interferring of GOD on Noah Arks was the transformation from domiance to the comprehension of Grace.

The God as we all know was supposed to be the God of Fear but as people become more and more civilised this God thing has transformed into something else, getting reinvented into something better through the ages by worshippers.At the end of it I am happy,you are happy the house of worship makes money,God is happy so why all the fighting? In my opinion the problem lies with men trying to capitalize on religion for their own selfish means.

When were we ever "civilized"? Is a society living in huts less civilized than us, who lives in urban environment? What is "civilized"?

So you want a father of fear during your childhood than a father of love going by how you interpret the sudden change in this God's attitudes? Religions have never been about making money only when religions start becoming organized, greed crept in.

Have anyone wonder why Christianity and Islam are independent religions not branches of Judaism? Like how we have Protestants, Catholics, Sunni and Shia. Christianity started out as a Jewish sect.

when you have dogmas in the religion, there is nothing used to explain its rationale. only faith and unquestioned obeisance are required, rational thinking can be discarded, thank you very much.

In reply to Rooney9, If just and only just faith and unquestionabled obeisance is the order of the day, then anybody can become Jesus or Buddha because to any questions thrown at them, they need only to say “just follow, no explaination is needed”

In reply to Fcukpap, if truth is subjective, there did be a billion truths to one question because there are billions of people in this world. Everything happens for a reason and therefore there will be an answer to each and every question. If we just believe or follow by faith without questioning and seeking for answer, how can we become better and wiser in coping with crisis? My question about that baby is not difficult, any buddhist, toaist and other religions can easily answer it, why choose to evade?

Regarding Pastor Rony Tan’s theory that man live only a single life.

According to Buddhism, the baby will be born in ghosts path unless someone chao du him (temples usually chao du all the babies who died young or being aborted), will he be reborn again. It is the baby's karma that he was short lived. Karma spreads over 3 lifes (三世因果）。

To be born in ghosts path is very suffering because the shortest life span in ghosts path is 200 years old.

May be you can post this question in Wisdom Bliss. AEN will reply you in detail. I only know so much.

Yes, karma applies to everybody. I don't believe that God or any other higher beings have taken the baby away, as what you said the baby looks so innocent, no one is so cruel to let him dies. However, no one can escape karma (no one controls karma) which is the law of nature and can never go wrong and not bias.

Last questions, heard when one dies, the next of kin usually say : Bo pian, time is up for him. He need to go. Bo pian...he already free man now. No suffering in the world....bo pian

But then, due to law of karma, one died still need to undergo punishment before being born again.

Catholicism believes in purgatory. Christianity teaches grace of god, crucification of Christ to obtain salvation . What is limbo?
