I remembered when I was in Melbourne many years ago taking a tram, an aussie guy came out to know and took out his notebook and invited me to his church and asked me for his details. that time i was quite young, didnt know how to reject or say no to him, so I just gave him a fake number.

He took down my details and then left me alone and alighted the tram.

I said this because, considering their smaller population here alone in Sg, I already came across a numbers of white gays.

he didnt wink or show any other body language when he approached me. I think he was more intent on inviting me to his church. on hindsight i should have said no, sorry mate, I am not interested, but if I said no, he would have preached to me lol in the tram.

because of some of their belief system are so illogical, like eternal hell for non believers, other religions are evil or satanic. a true religion will not accuse other religions as evil and false and that its own religion is true and one and only.

while its true the christiandom is screwed up..but think about this why they says all other religions are false...imagine only you know the facts of case to a crime..say the only eye witness...then you hear speculators saying this and that of the case you saw..will you not at least say it in your heart that they are lying??

when God gave his word to humans..he knows there are other gods both lifeless or otherwise demons in disguise..He and many others knew that only Himself, YHWH or JHVH, is the true living God..would he not warn his children not to believe in the lies of other gods??would you not want your children to be spared from harmful effects of lies created by others when you know the truth?

Well, many new believers in this modern age are full of zeal an eager to spread the good news that just came upon them, many of times, not fully understanding the extend what it means to bring people to Christ.

It is often the misinterpretation of "saving" people by forcefully dragging him to church expecting him to "see the light". Superficial faith might have been a result of this, where people enter churches simply to watch the performance of a live band and failing to capture the true essence of the Christianity faith.

In response to this provoking reply that is written for this topic, distortion of the truth brings you nowhere other then turning your eyes away from the truth as well as a display on your lack of mental maturity. Hope for peace can only be achieved by first having peace within yourself.
