Nope , thats not exactly the case ... In the
end the most "true" bible is still the one written in Hebrew and
Greek... English is too limited to fully express the
awesomeness of God and His plans for us... For example,
the english has only 1 word to represent love.. I love this
apple.. I love you Baby... I love my son...
The greek however, has Eros (ερως) , from where we get erotic , is the lowest
kind of love.. then we have Philia (φιλία) , which is love for your friends ,
Storge (στοργή) family love
and finally, the God kind of love, Agape (αγάπη) ...
Another example, If you remember the prodigal son story, the
father says : Bring out the calf and kill it! For my son was lost
and how he has returned!"
The greek word for "son" used is different from the one the
father uses on the older brother in " My son, you are always with
me and all that i have is yours"
In the former, the word son is literally Huios (υἱός)
"Full grown Son, ready to take on full reponsibility"
whereas the latter, is Teknon (τέκνον),
"little child, one who is still under a nanny, not mature"
Therefore, no bible in print is currently perfectly
accurate.. some things the KJV left out the NIV has,
some things the NLT or the Amplified brings out to be easily
understood..Sometimes its simply the way the printers phrased it
can be different..
But fortunately, even with so many versions, they all bear the
same Good News...
i like your last sentence..all bear the same good news..too bad
it aint true..and also being twisted by humans..
