Forming a radical church!

Catknight SG

Ok ok....I'mtalking about a new group counterweight against megachurch excesses .Primitive chrisianity that exits before Jesus and will continue till the end of times..

Hope the christians here can give me some ideas how to form a group and hopefully build a congregation big enough for a small chapel.thanks..

Btw evangelism seems lame as most sporeans just think of 5Cs and talking about them the spirit of christ , they will tend to give you a blank look as if you're from another planet

So who is going to lead this congregation of yours ?

There are many radical churches out there.

Maybe u wanna join the Church of No Name . eh ?

Catknight SG

I want to draw people away from NCC new creation church to tell them it's ok to be poor but happy christians living without pastors sermons..no tithes but help your fellow men some sort like beneficient guild

Catknight SG

Modern pastors have become too worldly, how then they can lead the rest against materialistic and sensual world

dumbdumb! SG

firstly. most important is - is it biblical?

what do you believe about God,

what do you believe about Jesus

what do you believe about sin

what do you believe about the bible

what do you believe about creation

what do you believe about salvation

i think these are the foundation truths that must be laid down before building a church.

what you have now, is a movement, not a church.

Catknight SG

Yeah also away from sola scriptura stuff...a holy bible is just a book ...that's one thing that catholics got it right

BadzMaro SG

What u talking about ? No Tithe , no pastor.. ???

Primitive Christianity ? lol..

So.. no rules no nothing , no teachings, no purpose, u might as well be a monk and join buddhism . But then again , at least the monks still got followings n teachings and purpose.

dumbdumb! SG

lol, then you might as well join the catholics. seems easier than starting a church.

also, if u take away sola scriptura, what is the basis for truth? your words? hahaha..

Catknight SG

YEah that why it;s radical ..if not might as well join any churches here...shake shake shake the world OK:)

dumbdumb! SG

YEah that why it;s radical ..if not might as well join any churches here...shake shake shake the world OK:)

sounds like a movement with the potential to become a meaningless cult. lol

what's so radical about sitting around in a circle twiddling our thumbs? since your vision has no purpose, no teachings, no doctrine, no leader, no members, no future?

wait, i take back my words. no potential to become a cult either. lol

yep, shake shake shake the world, back at ya. rofl

Most importantly we need to share love around and end this useless debates...did not jesus said the greatest commandment is

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." (NIV, Mark 12:28-31).

but you said, you don't want sola scriptura wat. then what's the value of quoting the bible?

shake shake shake shake the world~?

Catknight SG

How many even pastors do this on a day to day basis? Yet they are able to study theology in colleges...sad

lol, you'll be the first odd pastor then.

Catknight SG

I'm saying not blindly worshipping the bible did not say you cannot use it as a reference

dumbdumb! SG

I'm saying not blindly worshipping the bible did not say you cannot use it as a reference

sola scriptura means all basis of truth is based on the bible. which means using the bible as the reference for truth, and not merely what man says.

i see that this movement is going to sink soon like a leaky boat, if you don't even know what you're talking about. lol.

Catknight SG

No I'm just a simple man that wants to group a hardcore like minded christians who are willing to shake the conventional church way of doing things

Catknight SG

Shake shake shake the room....

dumbdumb! SG

No I'm just a simple man that wants to group a hardcore like minded christians who are willing to shake the conventional church way of doing things

simple man or simple minded?

so far, i think you belong to the latter.

maybe borderlining delusional. =)

shake shake shake the world..? pfft.

anyway you haven't answered the original questions:

what do you believe about God,

what do you believe about Jesus

what do you believe about sin

what do you believe about the bible

what do you believe about creation

what do you believe about salvation

Catknight SG

I believe this movement will sweep all the way to communist china..PRC people needed the way of GOD
