I wonder if you will be willing to die as a matyr for your God
if the situation calls for it?
Will you still be a christian if christianity is outlawed in
Singapore?
If you answered YES to both the questions above, what makes you
different from religious fanatics that go about killing and
shooting people for their faiths?
the difference is - when we're called to die for our God, we die
as pathetic victims of wrath of men. we get shot, stoned, beheaded
for our faith.
we aren't called to strap bombs and pick up guns and try to take
as many with us.
like the korean missionaries. dying from their desire to share
love with others.
because the foundation of christianity is love. It's built on
this verse:
John 3:16 -
For God so loved the world that he
gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall
not perish but have eternal life.
There are many other verses:
John 15:13 - Greater love has no one than this,
that he lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:17 - This is my command: Love each
other.
Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates his
own love for us in this: While we were still sinners,
Christ died for us.
Romans 12:10 - Be devoted to one another in
brotherly love. Honor one another above
yourselves.
Romans 13:8 - [ Love, for the Day is
Near ] Let no
debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt
to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman
has fulfilled the law.

"Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other
commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule:
"Love your neighbor as yourself."

Therefore love is the fulfillment of the
law.
Romans
14:15 - If your brother is
distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting
in love. Do not by your eating destroy your brother for whom
Christ died.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 - 4Love
is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it
is not proud. 5It
is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it
keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love
does not delight in evil but rejoices with the
truth. 7It
always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres.
Galatians 5:14 - The entire law is summed up in a single
command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
Galatians 5:22 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness
and self-control. Against such things there is no
law.
Ephesians 4:2 - Be completely humble and gentle; be patient,
bearing with one another in love.
Ephesians 5:2 - and live a life of love, just as
Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant
offering and sacrifice to God.
James 2:8 - If you really keep the royal law found in
Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing
right
1 John 3:11 - [ Love one
another ] This is
the message you heard from the beginning: We
should love one another.

life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does
not loveremains in death.

Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down
our lives for our brothers.

his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can
the love of God be in him?
1 John 3:18 - Dear children, let us not love with
words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
1 John 4:7 - [ God's Love and
Ours ] Dear
friends, let us love one another,
for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been
born of God and knows God.
1 John 4:10 - This is love: not that we loved God,
but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice
for our sins.
1 John 4:19 - We love because he first loved
us.
as for me. i find myself hardly even living for Him, abit hard
