hmmmm......... then give up a meal loh... vegan can fast also....?

or give up something else, no need to be food related one, right? like TV time..etc.

personally, it may be better to spend more time in prayers...

Thanks Vince. I know I can give up something other than a meal. Just that I can’t think of any (so far) since I don’t party much, don’t drink or smoke. Was thinking of maybe setting aside some $ everyday and at Easter, donate it.

Just ponder this.What do veganism normally associate with? Pagan religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism and Taoism? Or Christianity?If you go to hawker centres to find a vegetarian stall, do you find Christian ones or Pagan ones?If you do not want your vegan meals to link with paganism, you could dine in restaurants who are offering a vegetarian alternative but can be quite expensive and not many vegetarians can afford it.

Got reminded that Ash Wed is 10 days away. Unfortunately I can’t fast – am already having trouble keeping my weight steady. Plus got workouts. Guess I’ll abstain from desserts and junk food maybe.
